MADISON S.D. – Today, the South Dakota Board of Regents welcomes new members and new Board Officers. Tim Rave of Baltic remains the Board President, while Jeff Partridge of Rapid City was elected as the Vice President to fill the role vacated by former Regent Jim Thares.
The Board selected a newly appointed member, Doug Morrison, to serve as the secretary and sit on the Executive Committee.
This week’s meeting marks the first in-person board meeting for Regents Judy Dittman of Madison, Randy Fredrick of Hayti, Jim Lochner of Dakota Dunes, Doug Morrison of Sioux Falls, and Randy Rasmussen of Vermillion.
“As Board President, I want to welcome our new members to the South Dakota Board of Regents,” said BOR President Tim Rave. “We’re excited to have a full board and eager to get to work for the students of our state.”
