Classification and Compensation

The Classification and Compensation Center (CCC) was established in 2023 to lead compensation and classification strategies across the Board of Regents that support recruitment, retention, and compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, South Dakota administrative rules, and Board of Regents policies.

The CCC team, acting as a partner with university human resource departments, is responsible for the management and oversight of classification and compensation for the Board of Regents and its six universities and two special schools and partners with the university and special school human resources departments to ensure competitive and equitable and pay practices.
